Spotted Forget-Me-Not

A woody based plant, erect stem, growing about two feed high,
with a few erect or ascending branches growing from the base.
there are elliptic leaves with blades 1 1/2 tp 3 inches
long. It has forget-me-not like blossoms are which white, marked with
blue. The seeds are barbed, and are great hitchhikers,
thus the name. It blooms in late summer. It
grows in rock crevices with favorable water regime, eastern slopes with poor,
drained soil, shaded in summer. It is found in Idaho and surrounding
states.
