Rough Wallflower
Erysimum asperum (Nutt.) DC
It is a single stemmed plant from 6 to 30 inches tall with numerous long thin stems, with wavy or toothed edges. There 4-petaled bright yellow or yellow-orange flowers found in loose clusters at the top. It is normally found in relatively dry areas in open or lightly wooded slopes from low valleys to about 9,500 ft. in the mountains.. It has a watery or pungent acid juice typical of the mustard family.
