Rosette Tiquilia
Tiquilia nuttallii (Hook) Richardson
The rosette tiquilia is a annual with oppositeb branched
stem. The leaves are lustered;
hairs spreading; blade 3.5--9 mm, ovate to round, margin entire, veins
2--3 pairs. shallowly sunken. The small pink to white clustered, bracted
flowers. The fruit is deeply 4-lobbed, with an oblong, ovoid smooth and
shiny seed. It grows on sandy plains, washes, slopes, saline flats at
elevations up to 2400m. It is found in Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and California.
