Northern (Multi-flowered) Viguiera
Viguiera multiflora Nutt.
Looks like a small-sized sunflower, but the plant is
slender-stemmed and more branching then the sunflowers. Both ray and disk
flowers are yellow. Flowers from the latter part of July to first part of
September. Found in dry open areas around foothills and mountains up to
the timberline in eastern Idaho.
