Low Pussytoes
Antennaria dimorpha (Nutt.) T. &. G.
Grows about one inch tall. It forms a ground cover of grey patches that may cover several feet. The flower heads are solitary and fairly broad. The herbage is silky-tomentose. The leaves are numerous, linear or oblanceolate in shape, and up to 3 cm long and 5 mm wide. Blooms April and May.Found in dry, open places, chiefly in the foothills and lowlands.
